RFQ Statuses and Process Flow
RFQs progress through different statuses, tracking their journey from creation to completion. Below is a detailed breakdown:
RFQ Statuses
Status Code | Status Name | Description |

1 | Pending | The RFQ has been created and is waiting for quotes from suppliers. |
2 | Quoted | At least one supplier has submitted a quote. |
3 | Booked | The customer has accepted a quote, and the service is scheduled. |
4 | Dropped | The goods have been delivered to the warehouse. |
5 | Finished | The service has been successfully completed. |
6 | Cancelled | The RFQ was cancelled by the customer or due to an issue. |
RFQ Flow Process
- RFQ Creation → The customer submits an RFQ (Pending).
- Receiving Quotes → Warehouses and suppliers submit quotes (Quoted).
- Customer Decision:
- If the customer accepts a quote → RFQ moves to Booked.
- If the RFQ is cancelled → Moves to Cancelled.
- Service Execution:
- If the goods are delivered to the warehouse → Moves to Dropped.
- If the service is completed → Moves to Finished.
- Final Outcome:
- If service is completed successfully → Remains Finished.
- If any issue occurs before service completion → Can move to Cancelled.
