RFQ Statuses and Process Flow

RFQs progress through different statuses, tracking their journey from creation to completion. Below is a detailed breakdown:

RFQ Statuses

2QuotedAt least one supplier has submitted a quote.
3BookedThe quote has been accepted, the warehouse has been notified and the service is scheduled.
4DroppedThe freight has been delivered to the warehouse.

6CancelledThe RFQ was cancelled

RFQ Flow Process

  1. RFQ Creation → The customer submits an RFQ (Pending).
  2. Receiving Quotes → Warehouses submit quotes (Quoted).
  3. Customer Decision:
    • If the customer accepts a quote → RFQ moves to Booked.
    • Customer cancels the RFQ → Moves to Cancelled.
  4. Service Execution:
    • When the freight is delivered to the warehouse → Moves to Dropped.
    • When the service is completed → Moves to Finished.
  5. Final Outcome:
    • If service is completed successfully → Remains Finished.
    • If any issue occurs before service completion → Can move to Cancelled.

These statuses help track the entire RFQ lifecycle, ensuring full transparency.
